About the Site

This site is designed to promote, preserve and present student research projects, specifically those that document original or previously unpublished historical resources by and about institutions and individuals from throughout the region. Interns working in the field, graduate and undergraduate students in classrooms, and public school teachers from throughout the region create, maintain, and utilize the content of this site. This dynamic approach to teaching and learning is meant to foster a collaborative relationship between students, scholars, teachers, and regional cultural institutions; encouraging in students a sense of ownership over their own research, and entry into the evolving world of the humanities.

All item processing, including scanning, cataloging and other description, is the product of student research at Cleveland State University with guidance from the Center for Public History & Digital Humanities. For more information, see the Center for Public History and Digital Humanities homepage.
