Lesson Plans Portal
The CSU Social Studies and History Portal represents the work of teacher participants in several of our Teaching American History grant projects. Like many of our other projects, a goal of the Social Studies and History Portal is to encourage among teachers an open process of professional development and foster a sense of professional community and responsibility through the creation of teacher-generated resources that are accessible on the open web.
Included in the site are hundreds of lesson plans created by both novice and veteran social studies teachers. Lesson plans are browsable by the TAH workshop in which they were produced or by keyword searching.
Please note that the Social Studies and History Portal remains a work in progress and we plan on making improvements to content and organization in the near future.
