Featured Media

Over the years, we have collected some amazing stories that shine a personal light on the history of the city and the region, having implications for history on a national level as well. In this area, we will share some of our favorite audio and video clips from the Cleveland Regional Oral History Collection.

Use the feed on the left of this page to choose from our most current Featured Media. If you would like to learn more, or search the collection for the full interview, visit The Cleveland Regional Oral History Collection. We only have a few up so far, but we will continue to add items until the collection is complete.

Many of our Featured Stories will come directly from our Euclid Corridor kiosk project. These selections include musical preludes with introductions by members of the project team. To hear more Euclid Corridor stories, visit the kiosk site online, or stop at select transit stations along Euclid Avenue’s Healthline, where you can explore local history on RTA’s multi-purpose touchscreen kiosks.

We hope you enjoy these stories. We encourage you to cite them in your research, link them from your own blog, play them for your friends and family, and bring them into the classroom as teaching aids.
